Built in 1967, and thoughtfully updated since, this 3700+ sq ft delight offers the perfect summer retreat in the inviting village of Osterville. The location is ideal. Drive just six minutes to sandy Dowses Beach. And half that distance to popular Fancy's Market, pick up some of their Howie's Cheese and wine and crackers and head to the beach for a sunset.
Living Spaces: No doubt the most outstanding aspect of this home's interior is its several comfy gathering areas. The main level has a big family room plus a separate living room, each with plenty of comfortable lounge seating and a wall mounted TV. The lower level has yet a third TV lounge space, plus a game room.
Kitchen and Dining: The kitchen is well equipped and includes a good-sized peninsula with counter seating for three. There's also a small kitchen eat-in table for four. Appliances are stainless steel and counters are granite. The kitchen and eat-in space have beautiful hardwood floors. The separate dining room easily seats eight.
Sleeping Arrangements: All four bedrooms are on the second level. There's the spacious suite with a king-size bed and a TV. Then there's the private full bath with both a step-in shower and a jetted tub. Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, while bedroom number four has a bunk bed with two twins plus another single twin. There are two additional bathrooms upstairs, one full and one half. The half bath also houses the laundry.
Outdoor Living Space: This is likely the place your group will love gathering most. The unusual and alluring design of the in-ground heated pool beckons one and all to enjoy a dip. The oversized, skillfully crafted stone patio provides poolside lounge seating, a large umbrella shaded dining table and chairs, and still more seating around the wood burning fire pit. The gas grill and enclosed outdoor shower also live on the patio. The owners have also provided rooftop solar panels which power this property year round.
